About The Door Church
Pastor Carl and Norma Cooper
Pastor Carl Cooper gave his life to Jesus Christ at age thirteen on Tuesday, September 11th , 1979. As a student of Amphitheater High School, and at a time of real desperation, he experienced the life changing power of Jesus Christ.
Carl and his wife Norma became Christians 45 years ago at The Door Church ministry, (started by Harold & Mona Warner). They have been in the ministry since 1998; pastoring in California, Georgia, and New York City along with nine years as a full-time evangelist. They are very excited and privileged to be able to serve in a church ministry right here in their hometown in Tucson, Arizona.

Our History
In 1970 Wayman Mitchell went to the small town of Prescott, Arizona. From here, a spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe. In a few short years, hundreds of churches have been planted and are touching tens of thousands every year.
This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus’ return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. Our message is simple, yet powerful, that Jesus Christ is the only hope for man’s salvation and can bring supernatural change in any person’s life. Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and is moving mightily on the earth. The Door Church Tucson is a part of Christian Fellowship Ministries which now includes more than 3,000 congregations worldwide.
